Project description:
I was commissioned by The Times to create a 6-panel comic for the article “George Crosses for ‘bravest of the brave’ bomb disposal heroes”. The comic depicted how Staff Sergeant Kim Hughes saved his comrades in Helmand province by neutralising several pressure-plate bombs manually without any specialist protective clothing.
